I got this as I do many presentations. I also use Ubuntu Linux 10.04. Everything just works, all the buttons. You plug in the receiver and your ready to go. Works with OpenOffice Presentation & Evenince (PDF reader) as well, no problems.
What surprised me is the receiver tucks into the control, so you never loose it. The laser pointer is also really good too, comes in handy when you want to point something out. It also is very nice to hold as well.
Works great and very easy to set up and use. A tremendous convenience when making a presentation, and with the built-in laser pointer and black-out feature makes the presentation itself much more professional. Also very easy to use on any device. A tremendous bargain for not very much money.
